1. Describe how you arranged your composition. Discuss your use of he elements and principles. Is it a successful composition?
To set up the arrangement I made a viewfinder and picked an arrangement that was closer up and had showed multiple bottles. I made sure to have bottles up front as well as in the foreground on the composition. I also made sure the viewpoint was more closer up to really focus on the shading of each bottle. I think this is a successful composition, especially since I haven't drawn still life since Art 1.

2.Did you use a wide range of values? Explain how is this evident?
At first it was hard to do different values. its easiest for me to establish a light layer then build on top of it. This is evident by the darker shading on the edge of the bottles and also where another bottle would be behind it and show through.

3.Explain how your knowledge and creating practice studies with value contributed to your piece. The practice helped me distiguish between values and transition between dark and light. Creating 3 compositional sketches helped by picking a good viewpoint to base my drawing on.
4.Describe the blending and transitions in your objects.
There was usually are darker strip on the left side of the bottles from where the light hit it. Also there is a darker tone where you can see the label on the bottle on the other side. It will usually get lighter and I headed towards the right side of the bottle. There is usually highlights on the side which I kept white to be the lightest value.

5.Explain how your interpretation of texture is essential in capturing the look of the object.
Texture adds so much to an object and every object has texture. Even if the bottles are technically smooth, there is texture created by the light and shade on the bottles. There was a lot of texture in the cloth with all the folds which was hard to do.

6. If you could recreate your pieces what would you do differently to enhance the final outcome?
If I could recreate my piece I would use a wider range of pencils. I was almost scared to use the darker pencils because of going dark to fast and not being able to lighten it up. I also would have practiced more with drawing with value too before my final.
